2013!

Well hello! Happy 2013. I'm back not with a bang, more of a peep, but with the intention to come back to posting. It definitely won't be as often as it used to be, but I won't go wandering off and disappearing just yet!

I hope you all had a lovely New Years. Mine was exceptionally quiet. I was in bed by 11:30, reading a ghost story with Jools Holland's Hootenany on in the background. As a family we did our normal NYE grazing- cheese, dips, olives, chutneys...yum. This time it was followed by the most decadent chocolate sorbet made in my dad's brand new ice cream maker.

I tend to get a bit morose around the end of the year. My birthday is on the 30th and so it tends to be a time for double reflection- new year and just another year older- but this year I managed to not be too grumpy and was reminded of all the changes that happened in 2012. Who knows what will happen in this year to come! Best wishes for all your 2013s xxx
